about:Ron
"Hello, there. I'm Ron"
My name is Ron Adair Jr. I have been a photographer for longer than I can remember. Ok, but almost. But for over twelve years now, I have worked hard to develop my skills in photography. I have worked professionally for over seven of those twelve years, and am now attending the prestigious and world renowned Brooks Institute of Photography. Here I am seeking to perfect the skills necessary to become one of the top photographers in my field, commercial photography.

The first moment that I picked up an SRL camera all those years ago, I became a completely different person. I suddenly had something that felt right in my life, and I could relate to photography like nothing else I had done or known before. I soon began working professionally, and found the thrill of working with clients was extremely satisfying. I couldn't have asked for a better way to work than going out into the world and photographing people during some of the happiest times of their lives.

Then in 2001, I began to play around with website creation. I quickly found that I enjoyed the challenge of thinking in a different way than I was accustomed to. I became proficient in hand-coding HTML, and started to familiarize myself with other languages such as Javascript, CSS, and PHP. Today I find myself spending my free time learning as much as I can about web design and content delivery over the web. I feel that the internet is yet in it's infancy, and we are going to see some incredible things in the future, things that we cannot even begin to imagine right now.
I love my wife and daughter, and we three are looking forward to another addition to our family this summer. I hope that I can be great at everything that I do, and most importantly that I can be a great husband and father to my wife and children. They certainly have proven worthy of my best attention.
I am currently working on a few projects. I am developing my very first Flash website, preparing to deploy an online photographic community, and am working on a thesis and business plan involving the internet to better prepare me for the photographic industry once I am closer to graduation.
I enjoy teaching others what I know about photography, and helping them understand the basic, yet invaluable principles of photographic technique and light.
Oh, and I love good food. But who doesn't? I'm sure you do. Right?
